My Pitch
Pitch 1- A girl thinking she was just an American girl soon finds out she is more important than she thinks and is in great danger.
Pitch 2- A girl who was told both her parents died in a car crash begins to realize there is more to their story.
For pitch one, I believe I would be interested in filming it because I am attracted towards stories like the this one. When typing the pitch, I had so many visions on what I can include in the film. In my head, this pitch holds so much potential. The only reason why I wouldn't be interested in filming this pitch is because when I think of the props and the location this would need to be filmed, I realize that it could possibly cost me time and money. I want to make this project perfect since its the final task. I want to show creativity. If my location doesn't match which the storyline, it would throw the whole thing off. For Pitch two, I would be interested in doing it because I know it would be easy for me to do. Unlike for the other pitch, my mind is not set on one vision. I have multiple ideas wondering in my mind for this pitch. This would make it easier for me to move forward and adjust as I complete this project. I am also interested in mystery. Filming this pitch will have me more invested in the project. I would be able to move more smoothly through this task. A reason why I wouldn't want to film this pitch is because the ideas that come to my mind when I think about it is either overused or too simple. I want to be able to grab the audience attention with this film.
Chosen Pitch- A girl thinking she was just an American girl soon finds out she is more important than she thinks and is in great danger.
I chose this pitch not because I believed the other one was bad, but because I want to challenge myself with something different. Filming pitch one will take longer than it would filming pitch two, but I know that I can do it.
