Editing Blog: Making a few changes

Looking at my music video, I felt as if it wasn't enough. I thought it was to boring and plain. So I went back and made a few new changes. The first change I made was adding a title. Since I had a lot of empty scenes in the beginning of my music video, I took that chance to add a title. I simply put the title of the song in the first scenes. It added a nice and flowy look for my music video. Before I made these changes, the beginning was just trees and the sky. Adding the title of the song to these scenes gave more meaning towards it. The next change I made was within the transitions. I reviewed my music video and the transitions were bold and sloppy. I wanted my music video to appear more neater so I made some changes. I used transitions like fade because it allowed the scenes to smoothly change. Before I used a transition that had a white screen appear before the next scene would. I found this a little bit to bold for my music video. The song is so smooth and soft. I want the music video to match the vibe of the music. The last change I made was changing some scenes back to its original filter. Before I used a high amount of saturation for each scene. I decided to lay off on the saturation for the ending laundry scene. I did this because it didn't apply correctly because of how short that scene was. I thought about keeping it because it appeared as a cool glitch. I decided against that because it started to seem more of an mistake rather than an edit.
