How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?
In my product I used a lot of conventions that a regular luxury brand would have used. I included the props that are usually used in Louis Vuitton commercials. I also used the same costume convention. I didn't challenge the conventions that are used in luxury brand commercials. This represents social groups
How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?
My product engage with the audience by appealing to them and showing relations. The commercial uses pathos to engage with the audience. The pathos is used so that the audience can see themselves in the commercial. I also included the audience by making the first part of the product look like they were watching a original tape. This would be distributed as a commercial.
How did your production skills develop throughout this project?
My production skills improved a lot throughout this project. This project made exporting and importing seem more natural and easier to do. In other words, it gave me more practice on my editing skills which I now see as a simple thing to do. I improved on making films look more smooth. My creativity also improved during this project.
How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?
For this project I used a smartphone to complete all my filming. I did change to another smartphone during some of my filming because of complications with the other. I then used a Lenovo computer to complete all my editing. I transferred every shot from my phone to the computer. I used the app Clip Champ to complete all my editing.
