Research blog: Commercial Conventions

 I am doing a Louis Vuitton commercial. In these commercials, it usually displays a model casually walking, driving, or even posing. There are also a few commercials where the models complete different types of body movements to emphasize the products that are being worn around them.  They usually have the model that is in the commercial wear trendy outfits. The outfits range from floral bright dresses to black denim jeans. It all relies on the setting of the commercial.  The settings are often bright and relaxing. It can be a background of complete white which they use to add more attention towards the models. It also can be set at the beach where the actor can walk across the shore with the sound of either the waves of the water crashing against the land or smoothing music playing in the background.  The models appear to be perfect because of their well done make-up and their fashion outfits. My music video

 During the making of my music video, I have learned so much about filming and editing. Before I started this project I did not know much about editing projects. I learnt how to embed my own audio in the project. I feel as if I was never introduced or told to do this project, I would have probably still have no clue how to complete that process. I also became more creative during the making of this project. I was limited to many things during this project. I did not have as many props as I thought I would. I also did not have many costumes for the music video. This forced me to start thinking creatively. In the end it all came together nicely. I also was forced to change half of my storyboard. This also improved my creativity. There are so many things that I would have done differently. One of those things that I would have done differently is film further away from the actors face.  Hi, I'm Emily Fleurinor. I am in the 10th grade. I decided to take Aice Media Studies because I knew it would be a interesting class to take. I am also taking this class because I want to be able to complete the amount of Cambridge classes that is required to receive a Cambridge diploma. I want to be able to work in the law field after I finish my years in college and law school. I want to either become an criminal defense attorney or a prosecutor. I am currently a flying l student and besides being in the Cambridge program I am also in the Pre-Law magnet program. I took criminal justice during my ninth grade year and I am now taking comprehensive law. I want to be able to take court procedures for my 11th grade year because I want to be able to experience the basics of what is being thought in each law class.
