Genre Research: Me Before You

In the movie 'Me Before You', the film includes the elements of drama, which are plot, character, and thought. Louisa Clark begins to work with a wealthy banker who was paralyzed from an tragic accident. She begins working for this banker, Will Traynor because she needs to help her family with the bills. In the beginning of the film, Will feels as if there is nothing else to live for but Louisa cheerful  attitude leaves him to begin to realize that life is worth more than what he thought. This is the plot of the film which ends sadly. The film uses character which is Louisa Clark. The story is about Will Traynor's depressing life. Then Louisa is placed in the plot to play as the hero or the one who brings the happiness Will had back to his life. The last element this film uses from drama is thought. I feel like the moral of the story circulated around happiness in life or satisfaction with life. The moral of the story varies which leaves the audience in thought. The element I enjoyed the most was plot and thought. These two elements connect together in a way. The plot is what lead towards the thought. I liked how the thought or moral of the story varied. There was a lot of things going on in this movie. Some may say the movie was more focused on romance while others may say it was focused on life and happiness. I wouldn't say there's elements I disliked because the film used each element nicely. I do have a least favorite element which is character. I believe there was more than one character who was the hero of the film, but the hero was only portrayed to be Louisa.
